Initial Consultation
The success of any project is dependent on an accurate definition of the requirements and specification. This is an interactive process with you and RES to set design priorities and agree goals.
Once the requirement specification is locked down, we move into the design phase and you will be with us every step of the way.
Design
Now we have a well defined product we can start turning your idea into reality. Design is a simple word but it incorporates many disciplines and requires knowledge of how the product will be used and well as how it will be made.
We pride ourselves on getting to know our customers and in this way we increase the likelihood that what we design will exceed your expectations.
Proof of Concept
In most cases, RES customers will need functional models to develop the complete system in parallel. Standard practice for RES is to deliver a proof of concept as early in the process as possible to allow you to validate the product in its target environment.
Again, communication is essential. Your feedback is incorporated into the product design to make sure that when we go into production, we can be right first time.
Industrial Production
RES has qualified a carefully selected set of global partners to provide the manufacturing services required to deliver quality products at the right price. We believe we produce the most elegant designs in the business - its part of our design philosophy! This is only possible due to our years of experience that have given us a deep understanding of the end to end manufacturing processes.
The role of a robust test strategy cannot be underestimated and you can be assured that RES is able to develop a world class test environment that helps to achieve high yield and minimum loss at every stage in manufacturing.
Lamination
Lamination is the term used to describe the assembly of a finished card. In our case we need to integrate a complex electronic circuit into a card that usually conforms to ISO standards. Critical components such as biometric sensors and EMV chips are often added to the finished card.
RES relies on well proven manufacturing processes using already installed equipment and standard procedures. This ensures a robust supply chain and, more importantly, a robust card.
Certification
The card and payments industry is a complex one. RES will help you navigate the web of stakeholders to ensure your product is compliant with the market requirements.
